Update on my "MEGA-Swag and More" Giveaway!!!

First off... I have to thank all of you awesome book lovers out there that have already entered my giveaway and follow my blog! You guys are awesome and I truly love reading each and every one of your comments, so keep them coming.  Secondly (is that a real word?),  thanks to all of the authors/publicists that donated all of the awesome prizes.  You guys have really made this a phenomenal giveaway!!

Now let's get down to business....... I just added more loot!!!  That's right ladies and gents, there are now more prizes to win!  I am including a Vampire Academy prize pack that will include the first two books in this awesome series by Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy and Frostbite).  I just started putting together all of the prize packs and swag bags.  I didn't realize how much stuff I have for this contest!  At this point, I believe I have 17 packages ready to post with more still to be put together.  If you have ever had a contest that is open internationally, then you know what kind of expense I am looking at with up to 20 packages!  Its cool though, because I LOVE sending goodies to people.  However, I am a "highly paid"(insert laugh here) school teacher that only gets paid at the end of every month.   In order for me to be able to afford the post for all of these goodies I will be extending the contest until the end of the month.  The contest will now end on Saturday, May 1st at 12:00(noon) eastern time.  It's my birthday on the 1st and what better way to celebrate then mailing out presents!!  I am also going to be adding some of my handmade bookmarks to some of the prize packs and swag bags! I have included some pictures below of whats packed up, new goodies, and one of my bookmarks.  I really hope that you guys are cool with the extension, but money rules the world and my ability to mail out your goodies!  Thanks and GOOD LUCK!

I have included another form for you guys to add any extra entries on for tweeting/blogging about the extension and new prizes.  If you have not entered yet, then please go to the original giveaway post (click on swag pic under nav bar) and use that form.  This form is only for additional entries.

MEGA Swag and More Giveaway!!

I am SO excited about FINALLY being able to get this giveaway up and running!  I wanted to wait until I had received most of the goodies I was expecting.  That way I could entice you with pictures of bright, shiny bookmarks, stickers, pins, magnets, and other various swaggish items! Oh yeah... did I forget to mention there are also brand spanking new SIGNED books too!!  I am still expecting some items that haven't arrived to me at post time, but I will list them below and add pictures later.  I am also happy to add new items to the prize pile if any authors want to join in the fun!  Just go to "Contact" in the nav bar and let me know that you are interested!  Now on to the goodies!!

So here is what's in the 'prize pile':

• ** Contest has been updated and will now include a "Vampire Academy"  prize pack that contains the first two books in this incredible series by Richelle Mead!**

So that's what I have so far!  Pretty swagalicious contest... right?!!  You may be wondering how I plan to break down the prize pile?  Well.... prizes will fall into one of two categories (swag bag or prize pack).  Swag bags will contain a mixture of various swag items from the pile.  Near the close of the giveaway I will update this post and give specific contents of each swag bag.  I figured that since I haven't received everything yet and more authors may add to the pile, it would be easier to wait!  The second type of prize will be a "Prize Pack".  So far these are the prize packs (subject to change if more goodies come in!):

1. The Forest of Hands and Teeth Prize Pack - contents: Signed paperback copy of The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, 1 bookmark featuring hardback cover, 1 bookmark featuring new paperback cover, 1 The Dead-Tossed Waves sticker and 1 The Dead-Tossed Waves bookmark, 1 author business card featuring image of The Dead-Tossed Waves

Looking Glass Wars Contest!

First off, I must say that the dog in this picture looks identical to my dog Olive.. So I couldn't resist!

I am still brimming with holiday spirit and I love giving presents!  What better present to give than two brand spanking new hardcover books!!  That's right... up for grabs this time is the first two books in The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy!!! (The Looking Glass Wars and Seeing Red by Frank Beddor)

The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor:

Summary from Goodreads:

"You know the myth... A little girl named Alice tumbled down a rabbit hole and proceeded to have a charming adventure in the delightful, made-up world of Wonderland...Now discover the truth... Wonderland Exists!  Alyss Heart, heir to the Wonderland throne, was forced to flee through the Pool of Tears after a bloody palace coup staged by the murderous Redd. Lost and alone in Victorian London, Alyss is befriended by an aspiring author to whom she tells the violent, heartbreaking story of her young life only to see it published as the nonsensical Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Alyss had trusted Lewis Carroll to tell the truth so that someone, somewhere would find her and bring her home. But Carroll had gotten it all wrong. He even misspelled her name! If not for royal bodyguard Hatter Madigan's nonstop search to locate the lost princess, Alyss may have become just another society woman sipping tea in a too-tight corset instead of returning to Wonderland to fight Redd for her rightful place as the Queen of Hearts.  Meet the heroic, passionate, monstrous, vengeful denizens of this parallel world as they battle each other with AD-52's and orb generators, navigate the Crystal Continuum, bet on jabberwock fights and travel across the Chessboard Desert.  The Looking Glass Wars unabashedly challenges our Wonderland assumptions of mad tea parties, sleepy dormice, and a curious little blonde girl to reveal an epic battle in the endless war for Imagination."

Summary from Goodreads:

"Wonderland finally seems as if it’s getting back to normal. Queen Alyss is back on the throne, and reunited with her childhood sweetheart, Dodge. But the fight for Wonderland is far from over. King Arch, in nearby Boarderland, is conniving to overthrow everything for which Alyss and her friends have fought so hard. Even worse, King Arch has found an ally in the recently returned Redd, who has been biding her time and gathering new and evil assassins in the Catacombs of Paris. With enemies circling and danger looming, someone close to Alyss lets her down —and threatens the future of Wonderland forever."
