Book Blogger Hop and Follow My Book Blog Friday

 I love surfing around the blogosphere in search of new book blogs.  What better (and easier) way to do that then participating in these two weekly memes?!  Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jen @ Crazy for Books and Follow My Book Blog Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View.

**This week's question:  Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

My Answer: Wow~ This is a tough one!  I have so many favorties that it is hard to pick just a few but here goes... 

• I absolutely love Scott Westerfeld because his books are always so original and creative.  You can always count on great action and adventure as well! (favorite Westerfeld book: Peeps)
•  Another favorite is Cassandra Clare.  Her Mortal Instruments series is outstanding!  I flew through all of them and now I am anxiously awaiting The Clockwork Angel which is the first book in her prequel series titled The Infernal Devices.  
• I also love all of Maggie Stiefvater's books.  Shiver is one of my all-time favorite reads and I can't wait to crack open Linger!  Lament and Ballad are also phenomenal!  I love Maggie's  writing style, character development, and creativity.

Those are just a few authors from a very long list of favorites!  Who are some of your favorite authors?
